Billy: How was Poppy's party this past weekend?
Chris: It was terrible. It was supposed to be a barbecue but it was wet to even start the barbecue.
Billy: So what did you all do?
Chris: We just sat inside listening to music and chatting. It was really boring. To start with there weren't people because of the rain.
Billy: Who was there? Did Jeremy go?
Chris: The usual people. No, He didn't. He said he was tired and that Poppy's parties were never interesting
to bother going.
Billy: I guess. That's why I didn't go.
Chris: Good decision. I should have stayed home. The food was terrible also. Poppy made some pizzas but they were salty and there wasn't
cheese on them. Then she only had
drinks for her friends, even though she said we didn't have to bring anything. The whole thing was just boring. What did you do?
Billy: I was going to go to the movies but I didn't have
money so I just stayed at home and watched TV until midnight. I wanted to go skateboarding this morning but I got up late.
Chris: Me too. We should go this afternoon if it doesn't rain.
