Jimmy: What I do to get better grades?
Mr. Ball: Well you study harder. You think of getting a personal tutor, too. That can certainly help you improve. You waste time watching TV and playing video games. I'm not saying that you give up your free time activities. I'm just saying that it's important to structure your time better.
Jimmy: Well, my mom says that I play video games until my grades improve and that I get an A on my chemistry exam or she's going to stop me from watching TV, too. I know I study more but sometimes I'm just too tired especially because I have soccer practice after school three times a week.
Mr. Ball: Well you go to soccer practice if you don't want to. Maybe it would be better if you stopped until after the exams.
Jimmy: That's probably a good idea. Anyway, I have to get to class. Thanks for the advice, Mr. Ball.
